We are constantly bombarded by products, people, and situations that tell us to buy more, do more, and be more. Although it is crucial to be in a constant state of growth to become the best we can be, it is not necessary to have so much negative stress. In honor of Simplify Your Life Week, August 1st-7th, we are going to discuss the simple steps you can take to simplify your life…

1. Sit down and write out the most important things in your life: your top priorities, your top goals. What are the things that make you come alive, and what are the things you are striving towards?

2. Eliminate everything else.

Is it really as easy as this? Probably not. But getting a clear idea of what you want out of life can put into perspective the things that truly matter to you and the things that, well, don’t. Do more of what you love; do less of what you don’t. How’s that for simple?
