Charles Viancin Lilly Pad Lid

Every once in a while, i stumble across a product so surprisingly original that I’m left in equal parts awe and envy; in awe at the clever and thoughtful design and envious that i didn’t think of it myself. Such was the case when i recently crossed paths with a Charles Viancin Lilly Pad Lid at a client’s home.

At first, I was unsure about this flat, round, odd looking contraption sitting on the kitchen counter. So, i grabbed my handy smart phone and got busy looking it up. Turns out these reusable lids are genius and will appeal not only to your inner eco, but also your organizer, cook, designer, spin-thrift, and engineer.

First, these beauties come in a variety of patterns and styles so you can find just the right color to coordinate with your kitchen. The silicone is dishwasher safe, reusable, durable, and creates an air-tight seal around any bowl with a smooth surface. Since they are reusable, say good bye to rolls of wasted saran wrap and tin foil and hello to a little extra money in your bank account! The lids are flat and flexible, which makes storing them easy, and with 3 different sized lids, you can accommodate coverage of almost any bowl in your kitchen.

The Lilly Pad Lids have quickly become a staple in my kitchen. Check them out and let me know how they strike your fancy!
